Estimator ( Contract Joinery)
Job Description:
Wignall's Ltd is a joinery company in Heathfield, Newton Abbot looking for an Estimator to join their commercial team.
The role will be a permanent position.
The Joinery Estimator's Duties and Responsibilities will include:

Reviewing Client enquiries to provide competitive estimates for bespoke joinery.

Liaising with the Clients and Design Team.
-
Producing material enquires for bespoke joinery.
-
Attending site surveys when required.
-
Delivering a high quality service that consistently meets both client expectations and our own.
The successful Joinery Estimator must have:
-
Joinery manufacturing / Wood industry / Bench Joiner experience.
-
A good understanding of the manufacturing process
-
Confidence in dealing with enquires; including communication, reading drawings, preparing quotations, IT skills.

Warehouse Team Leader
At Heathfield -
Wignall’s Ltd is looking for an organised, practical and proactive Warehouse Team Leader to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our warehouse and support our busy workshop and installation teams.
As a well-established joinery company delivering a wide range of bespoke commercial and retail projects, we’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment, leading a small team and making sure materials, tools and equipment are in the right place at the right time.
The role covers all aspects of warehouse operations, including stock control, goods in and out, deliveries and collections, project materials, supplier returns and general warehouse organisation. You’ll work closely with our project, production, retail and installation teams to understand what’s needed and when, while maintaining accurate stock records and a safe, tidy and efficient working environment.
We’re looking for someone with previous warehouse, stock control or logistics experience, ideally with some experience of supervising others. You’ll be reliable, confident using IT, comfortable communicating with colleagues and suppliers, and have a positive, practical approach to solving problems and improving the way things are done.
Normal hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00am–5.00pm, with a Saturday morning rota and some additional winter biomass maintenance cover. Overtime is paid in addition to normal hours.
Bench Joiner
About the Role
We are currently looking for a Skilled Bench Joiner to join our busy and growing workshop team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work on high-quality, modern interior units and bespoke joinery components in a dynamic and supportive environment
Requirements

Proven experience as a Bench Joiner

Skilled in laminating processes (preferred, training will be given)

Ability to read technical drawings and understand cutting lists

Confident in using a variety of woodworking machinery

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
-
Ability to lift and carry panels and materials safely

NVQ Level 3 in Bench Joinery

Gold CSCS Card (preferred)

Joinery Technical Coordinator
Wignall’s Ltd is looking for an experienced Joinery Technical Coordinator to provide accurate and organised support to our Project Management team across a range of domestic and commercial joinery projects. This is a detail-focused role combining strong administrative and organisational skills with technical and industry knowledge, and would suit someone who takes pride in keeping project information accurate, complete and up to date.
Working closely with our Project Managers, you’ll help prepare quotations and job documentation, maintain project files and specifications, assist with costing and profit analysis, process and monitor material orders, track deliveries and liaise with customers, suppliers and our design, production and installation teams.
We’re looking for someone who is meticulous, methodical and proactive, with previous experience in joinery, manufacturing, interiors, construction or a similar technical environment.
You’ll need excellent attention to detail, confidence working with figures, quotations and costs, good IT and communication skills, and an understanding of technical terminology, drawings and specifications.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00am–5.00pm.
Part Time Office Assistant
Wignall’s Kitchens and Bathrooms is a well-established, family-run business looking for reliable and organised admin support for our busy showroom and installation team. This role includes some Saturday working as part of a balanced weekly rota.
Key Responsibilities:

Supporting day-to-day office and showroom operations

Liaising with installation teams as required
About You:

Previous office or administrative experience (essential)
